The battle belongs to the Lord, but YOU are His soldier!
To understand the battle, begin by acknowledging you are in a war. Battles are but smaller components of the bigger picture. By definition, battles involve combat between two persons, factions, or armies and they consist of any type of extended contest, struggle, or controversy.
As a Christian, you are in a spiritual battle of some sort every day. In physical warfare, battles are fought on different fronts for different reasons and with varying degrees of intensity. The same is true in spiritual warfare.
Your spiritual battles and warfare are real even though you cannot physically see the attacker. However, you can learn how the battles are fought and how they impact our lives on a daily basis.
As the return of Christ draws nearer, the warfare has also escalated. The adversary has saints staggering and reeling from his vicious onslaughts.
What can you do to defend yourself?
Although defending yourself is of utmost importance, there is an even higher spiritual approach—“Going on the offense to attack the enemy!"
You are a soldier in this war and your Great Commander has gone ahead of you, leading the way. Christ Jesus has already claimed the victory for you. Remember the power of His name.
